PpSwitzerland, Basel /p pLonza is a global leader in life sciences. /p h3Role Purpose /h3 pThe Global Head of Compliance and Risk Management Governance and Intelligence is critical for driving and overseeing the successful execution of strategic Quality Compliance programs/projects in alignment with the LGQ, IT, Operations, and the Quality Enabling Functions. This role is responsible for Lonza Quality Plan preparation and governance, managing the overall Compliance Risk Management planning and reporting processes, facilitating compliance, cross‑functional, and Global Quality Councils, and serving as the touchpoint for leadership communications. The role serves as an ambassador and change agent for Compliance and Quality Excellence strategy and execution across platforms, functions, and regions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Risk Management Framework Governance /h3 ul liLead the governance framework providing guidance and support to managers across platforms and functions. /li liDevelop content for and facilitate strategic monthly leadership team meetings, as may be required. /li liSupport development and monitoring of global Quality Councils, including action tracking/minutes and Quality Plans. /li liOversee Compliance programs/projects from initiation through to completion. /li liMonitor program/project progress and performance, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. /li liEstablish and maintain project management standards and methodologies in alignment with the One Lonza Vision. /li liServe as SME/SPOC for competency areas, supporting troubleshooting, audits inspections, etc. as required. /li liSupport sites and business platforms during regulatory inspections, complex investigations, and escalated compliance topics, as needed. /li liWork closely with Compliance Head to manage escalations and address Executive leadership needs. /li /ul h3Global Execution Of Quality Compliance QMS Strategy /h3 ul liEnsure operational execution of all strategic initiatives within Compliance QMS, driving standardization and performance improvement. /li liDrive and lead the implementation of change management within operational planning to embed new processes, systems, and ways of working. /li liOversee the development, monitoring, and reporting of the Lonza Quality Plan, ensuring visibility and accountability across functions. /li liMonitor and drive global improvements benchmarking and proactive risk mitigation. /li /ul h3Data Analysis And Reporting /h3 ul liPrepare and present detailed reports on strategic Quality program/project performance, risk status and operational metrics. /li liManage the business reporting process (e.g., weekly huddle reports, monthly Quality reports, quarterly batch release review, etc.). /li liResponsible for development of Quality KPI and KQI targets and monitor performance monthly (or as may be required based on projects, priorities). /li /ul h3Stakeholder Engagement /h3 ul liBuild strong relationships with Global Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Finance, and platform/site leadership teams. /li liUse indirect leadership to drive decision‑making and alignment in a matrixed global environment. /li liFacilitate executive‑level discussions, ensuring balance between strategic priorities and operational realities. /li liContinuously influence stakeholders to maintain focus on long‑term Quality Excellence goals. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liStrong leadership and team management skills. /li liExcellent project management skills. /li liExcellent Quality and Compliance experience. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. /li liHigh attention to detail and organizational skills. /li liSuperior communication and interpersonal skills. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools. /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liBSc or Masters degree in life science. /li liPMP Certification; ICH Q8, Q9, Q10 proficiency preferred. /li liDemonstrated success in managing large‑scale, complex programs. /li liExperience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks. /li liMultisite leadership and growth projects experience. /li liSuccessful track record with Health Authorities inspections (FDA, EMA, etc.). /li liExperience managing complex multi‑functional teams in a multinational business environment. /li liExperience working in a multi‑cultural and multi‑national environment. /li liAble to work in a matrix‑team structure. /li liStrong, proven leadership capabilities. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
