For our client based in Geneva, we're looking for a quickly available Chief Accountant to supervise accounting across multiple entities.
Our client is a Geneva-based FMCG international player.
Description
* Coordinate and supervise monthly closing and all general ledger accounts (Swiss/IFRS standars), as well as monthly accounting reviews and reconciliations and taw regulations.
* Prepare and record closing entries (payroll, leasing IFRS 16, fixed assets, provisions, prepaid expenses)
* Manage VAT returns and corporate income tax declarations
* Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and reportings
* Maintain and update master files and approval matrix
* Propose and implement process improvements
Profile
* Higher education in Accounting or Master's degree (major in Accounting and/or Finance)
* 5+ years of experience in general accounting and taxation (VAT, corporate tax), with GL responsibilities in an international environment
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and Swiss GAAP)
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office suite, experience on Microsoft Dynamics preferred
* English and French mandatory
* Team spirit, excellent communication skills, dedication
