Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven Chief Sales Officer / Global Head of Sales to lead our Go-To-Market (GTM) function. This role is ideal for a senior commercial professional with deep experience in new business development and account management, ready to step into a leadership position and build out the commercial function.
Key Responsibilities
GTM Strategy & Execution
 * Own and implement the GTM plan across sales, account management, customer success, and marketing.
 * Align commercial efforts with strategic growth objectives.
Hands-On Business Development
 * Actively lead new business efforts, engaging directly with prospects and clients.
 * Drive acquisition of new clients across UK, US, and Continental Europe.
Commercial Function Build-Out
 * Establish and scale the commercial team and processes.
 * Recruit and mentor talent across sales and client success.
Account Management & Customer Success
 * Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
 * Develop scalable engagement and renewal processes.
Marketing Leadership
 * Build the marketing function from scratch.
 * Shape the marketing strategy, develop collateral, and drive brand positioning.
 * Ensure marketing efforts support sales and product objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
 * 10+ years of experience in new business development and account management, ideally within commodities data & analytics.
 * Demonstrated ability to lead and scale commercial functions.
 * Strong understanding of B2B SaaS or data platform sales.
 * Fluent in English; French fluency is a strong advantage.
 * Comfortable operating across UK, US, and Continental Europe.
 * Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
