Responsibilities
* Process and analyze SAR satellite data for the detection of surface displacements and potential mass movements in Alpine areas
* Perform statistical analyses and quality control of results
* Prepare technical reports and scientific publications
* Contribute to projects with Swiss partners (e.g. federal and cantonal authorities)
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Geography, Engineering, or Natural Sciences
* Experience with GIS, large datasets, and InSAR-based mass‑movement monitoring
* Strong programming skills; experience with AI/ML methods is an advantage
* Experience collaborating between research and practice, ideally in the Swiss context (municipalities, cantons, federal offices)
* Excellent German and English; French or Italian are a plus
* A structured, reliable, and team‑oriented working style
