PRODUCTION OPERATOR
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Clean mold jackets and mold cores, clearing away excess flashing, wax, and debris.
* Scrape flashing from products.
* Visually inspect for quality issues such as holes, cracks, uneven rails, or short rails; inform Team Leader of concerns.
* Place acceptable products in curing racks or scrap defective ones; insert grates where applicable.
* Remove products from curing racks when ready, leaving larger channels for two rounds, and move to pallet or patch area if needed.
* Apply a thin, liquid coat of hot wax to the top surface of the mold.
* Clean knockouts.
* Ensure inner bars are closed; if not, use a wrench to pull them firmly to the right.
* Verify that the mold is properly closed with no gaps between jackets and end caps.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
* Follow company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
* Prolonged standing, tool handling, repetitive actions, bending, and stooping.
* Regular use of hands to handle, feel, reach.
* Ability to squat, stand, stoop, and bend for long periods.
* Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, talking, and hearing.
* Lift, push, and pull 75-100 lbs.
* Visual acuity for reading instructions, operating machines, and inspecting parts.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
* Quickly learn production equipment.
* Adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations.
