For our international customer in Kempthal, we are looking to hire an IT Support Specialist.
This is a temporary contract role for a few months and could be a good fit for students looking for internships or junior candidates.
Core Responsibilities 1st and 2nd level IT support: Being in contact with users (customers) to investigate and resolve problems and to provide local & remote support.
Adhere to global/local IT procedures and processes of the company.
Answer users' inquiries regarding IT support to resolve incidents/problems.
Use the internal service desk ticketing system according to company procedures and processes.
Support VIP users at the location.
Communication, Collaboration, and Training Adopt a customer-oriented attitude and professional presentation.
Collaborate with other regional/global IT support groups.
Provide basic user training.
Support and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
Ensure proper installation and maintenance of IT equipment (laptops, desktops, multifunctional network devices, mobile phones, projectors, software, and drivers).
Perform minor repairs to hardware and peripherals following specifications.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot OS, client software, and business applications.
Support the IT Service Desk Manager to improve service and processes.
Administrate Local IT Systems and Their Structure Maintain third-party order processes.
Maintain inventory of IT hardware and track compliance.
Manage account creation, termination, or transfer.
Information Security Apply safety requirements and ensure confidentiality of information.
Education, Experience & Knowledge Education in IT, either a degree or certified training.
Experience with IT hardware: desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, mobile devices.
Knowledge of software: Google Mail, Microsoft environment (Windows 7/10, Active Directory, Office), and deployment tools.
Driving license B.
Languages Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written).
Other languages are an advantage.
