Overview
Software Engineer for Design Verification Testing 80-100% is a role at Comet Plasma Control Technologies. We are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control Technologies division at the Flamatt site.
What You Will Do
* Build and improve software tools that help the testing team become more effective and faster
* Work with automated pipelines (CI/CD) to bring test automation to the next level, facilitating Hardware-in-the-Loop setups
* Team up with R&D experts to enable effective system-level testing
* Solve challenges by debugging, optimizing, and enhancing existing Python solutions
* Keep everything well-documented so that tools and APIs are easy to use
What You Bring
* Completed studies in computer/data science, electrical engineering or in a related field
* Strong hands-on programming skills in Python
* Experienced in working with CI/CD tool chains and automated testing frameworks (e.g. pytest)
* Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing software solutions
* Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German is a plus
