We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Process Manager to drive strategic initiatives within our finance department and to strengthen our team at the headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. The position is temporary and spans a period of 12 months.

As Business Process Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for process optimization, implementing innovative solutions, and enhancing the overall efficiency and effec-tiveness of our finance operations. This position requires a deep understanding of business pro-cesses, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The position reports to the Head of Global Business Excellence.

In This Role You Will Be Responsible For

Design and implement streamlined processes to drive operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
Collaborate with our IT teams, external implementation partner and other stakeholders to implement SAP Signavio as the new Business Process Management tool, develop a pro-cess taxonomy and support subject matter experts in mapping and documenting end-to-end business processes in SAP.
Driving an initiative focusing on the implementation of a new Corporate Performance Management platform, coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones when establishing the financial planning process.
Lead initiatives of our finance transformation roadmap aligned with the organization's stra-tegic goals. Identify areas for improvement and optimize financial processes.
Drive the mindset change by effectively communicating the vision, benefits, and objec-tives of our finance transformation. Develop and execute training programs and commu-nication strategies, to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Collaborate closely with finance leaders, business partners, and other cross-functional teams to understand their requirements, gather feedback and align with their transfor-mation initiative needs.

Qualifications And Competencies

Master’s Degree in business, sciences or related fields
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with process optimization, data analysis and proven ex-perience in leading finance transformation initiatives
Good knowledge of finance processes (financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting and reporting)
Strong understanding of SAP business processes and affinity to work with process map-ping tools
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset
Very good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Continuous learning mindset and passionate about processes and technology
Success-oriented, self-motivated, and ready to take on responsibility
Team player with open, positive attitude and respect for others and a strong customer fo-cus
Fluent in English, German and any further language is an asset
