What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a motivated Automation Engineer to support ongoing manufacturing operations and system upgrades at a biopharmaceutical site near Basel. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS, strong GMP awareness, and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
Your responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day support for the DeltaV Distributed Control System, including troubleshooting and implementing changes in accordance with GMP.
* Support automation projects across production areas, from design and configuration to commissioning and documentation.
* Work cross-functionally with process engineering, validation, and quality teams to ensure reliable system performance.
* Participate in change control, deviation investigations, and system life-cycle management.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation and digitalisation initiatives on site.
