Join our OEM and Partnering Business and bring your passion and talent to work.Senior Key Account Manager (100%)Männedorf, ZürichYour contributionAs a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic growth for Tecan's OEM and Partnering Business. You will manage current key accounts on a global level and build lasting relationships with partners and customers at all levels, including C-suite executives from start-ups to large multinationals.ResponsibilitiesProactively manage assigned accounts to drive and grow new orders and revenueOwn the budget, forecast, and relationship of assigned global and regional accountsLead contract negotiations and close complex development and supply agreementsDevelop and write proposals, manage pricing, and ensure gross profit targets are metUnderstand target markets, key applications, industry trends, and the competitor landscapeEnsure overall customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships, including regular C- and D-level exchanges between the companiesCollaborate closely with internal teams (Customer Project Management, Product Management, Legal, R&D, Finance, Service, Operations, QARA, Sales Order Desk)Attend conferences, trade shows, and customer meetingsAdhere to company guidelines, agreement terms, and code of conductYour backgroundWe're not just looking for hard skills: We're looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related science field; PhD is a plusFurther education in Business Administration, Business Management, or Strategic Selling is desirableMinimum 3 years' experience managing large accounts in an international environmentMinimum 5 years' sales experience in Diagnostics, MedTech, or Life Sciences, with established contactsProven experience negotiating and closing complex business-to-business contractsExcellent English; German and other languages are an advantageStrong negotiating and persuasion skillsStrong account management skillsProven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targetsEye for detail, especially in contractsAssertiveness and a confident mannerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSeniority and a winning attitudeWhat makes working at Tecan uniqueThe chance to make it count and to have an impact on the world of tomorrowWorking in an international and diverse environmentThe chance to grow your career within the companyFeel empowered by our strong and unique company cultureComprehensive compensation and benefits packageJoin Tecan, a great place to workRead about our recent certification from Great Place to Work.We're looking forward to receiving your application online.
