Employment Type: PermanentStart Date: ImmediateWe’re partnering with a high-performance trading technology client who are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to help build and maintain ultra-low latency global infrastructure supporting mission-critical systems.This is a hands-on engineering role focused on performance, reliability, and scalability across trading, market data, and inter-site connectivity environments.You’ll work within a small, highly technical team with real ownership and autonomy across a globally distributed infrastructure estate.Design and support low-latency network infrastructureSupport colocation deployments and exchange connectivityTroubleshoot latency, packet loss, multicast and performance issuesMaintain resilient WAN and data centre connectivityImprove monitoring, observability and automation across the network stackSupport high-availability switching, routing and security platformsStrong experience in network engineering within performance-critical environmentsDeep understanding of TCP/IP, L2/L3 networking and multicastExperience troubleshooting complex production network issuesExposure to automation/scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible etc.)Experience with Cisco, Arista or similar enterprise networking platformsFinancial services / trading / exchange connectivity experienceLow latency optimisation exposurePacket analysis / telemetry / observability toolingExperience within distributed or high-performance compute environmentsPlease apply now if this role is of interest.
