High Voltage Cable Engineer
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an ambitious engineer to support our growth in the power transmission and distribution sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and planning high voltage cable systems from 11kV to 400kV, either onshore or offshore. This will involve producing cable system design calculations, cable rating calculations, thermomechanical force and electromagnetic force calculations, as well as working with CAD technicians to produce cable route layouts and trench cross sections.
You must have experience in the production of or management of designs, calculations, reports, and drawings for HV power transmission systems, HVDC interconnectors, or HV renewable energy infrastructure in the DACH region. You should also have full working proficiency in German and a good level of English.

About the Job
The duration of our projects is usually between 6 and 24 months. Depending on the project and the project phase, the work location is mainly the project location at the customer, although mobile working from home is sometimes possible in consultation with the project management.
