Manager, regulatory issues remediation

Position Responsibilities

1. Excellent organizational skills.

2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building.

3. Problem-solving ability and strong execution of action plans.

4. Strong ethical compass and discipline.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all levels of management.

6. Skilled in facilitating decision-making across groups.

7. Ability to set priorities and manage overlapping timelines and competing demands.

8. Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services industry and regulatory environment.

9. Advanced understanding of the company’s business operations.

10. Ability to represent the business internally and externally (e.g., regulators, industry peers).

11. Experience in project management.

Professional Experience:

12. With at least 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or audit within financial services

13. With at least 3+ years in a leadership role cumulative to 5+ yrs. of experience

14. Proven strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and examination process

15. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills.

16. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education:

17. Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to Banking, Finance, Insurance, Accounting or related course

18. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation is a plus.
