Our focus on Indirect Tax Global Trade helps multinational corporations navigate challenges related to Customs regulations, sustainability regulations, indirect taxes, and tax operating models. We are seeking ambitious and diligent professionals to join us as a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our offices located in Geneva, Zurich, Basel, or Bern.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Manage local and global projects by collaborating with other service lines (VAT, Transfer Pricing, Consulting, Sustainability) and global EY offices.
* Provide customs advisory support in areas such as valuation, classification, origin, processes, and documentation.
* Lead project implementations to ensure deadlines are met, priorities are managed, and clients are satisfied.
* Align customs regulations with sustainability regulations, especially in cross-border goods movement.
* Lead trade compliance reviews and audits.
* Develop business propositions and support business development initiatives.
* Coordinate trade automation and analytics projects, working with the EY Global Trade Center of Excellence.
* Supervise and train team members, contribute to knowledge sharing within the Swiss and global teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A recognized diploma in Law and/or Economics from an EU or Swiss university or equivalent; additional qualifications in customs or international trade laws are advantageous.
* Experience in Tax Advisory/Compliance with a strong interest in Global Trade, Customs, Indirect Taxes, and sustainability regulations.
* Fluent in English; knowledge of German, French, Italian, or other languages is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analytics tools like Power BI is beneficial.
* A humble, autonomous, organized, positive, sociable, and flexible team player.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, rigor, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
* Additional expertise in areas such as technology, business architecture, or specific sectors (e.g., Life Sciences, Consumer Products) is welcomed.
