What You Can Expect
The Product Manager serves as the key interface between Sales and Marketing. Responsible for a clearly defined product portfolio, this role covers all activities from product launch through ongoing management to phase-out. The position plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the portfolio in close alignment with the EMEA/USA headquarters and the DACH sales organization.
How You'll Create Impact
1. Responsibility for the product portfolio and its marketing implementation in coordination with the clusters / EMEA
2. Driving market development, customer development, and supporting the sales team
3. Collecting feedback from the markets and forwarding it to the clusters / EMEA
4. Implementing the marketing strategy and launching new products in close coordination with the clusters / EMEA
5. Selecting and creating marketing tools (advertising and promotional activities)
6. Executing the marketing strategy provided by Marketing EMEA
7. Preparing and regularly reviewing the marketing plan and marketing costs
8. Supporting demand planners in the IBP process, creating and regularly reviewing the annual marketing plan for the product group as well as the regular product forecasts
9. Cooperating with the Quality and Legal departments
10. Ensuring implementation of all compliance requirements
11. Improving customer service by capturing key input from the markets (e.g., customer feedback, customer insights, communication, competitor products and initiatives, alignment with the company’s own product range, including preparing comparative product profiles)
12. Motivating sales employees for the product area through product training and regular information sharing, supporting field sales at key external events
13. Supporting product users through workshops at key events
What Makes You Stand Out
14. Completed degree in Business Administration, Medicine, Engineering, or a natural sciences discipline, or equivalent extensive professional experience
15. At least 2 years of professional experience in Marketing, Product Management, or Sales
16. Good knowledge of the medical technology industry
17. Medical expertise and technical understanding
18. Good knowledge of the healthcare policy environment (e.g. DRGs) and experience in the hospital business
19. Very good computer skills (MS Office suite)
20. Excellent command of English
