An opportunity has arisen to join the R&D Leadership Team as the R&D Strategic Manager. Based in Rolle, Switzerland, the role reports directly to the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and works cross-functionally with R&D Vice Presidents from diverse segments, including Human Nutrition, Animal and Pet Nutrition, Health & Wellness, Precision Fermentation, Oil Seeds, Carbohydrate Solutions, Research Process, and Development. The candidate will work in a dynamic environment, supporting processes, operations, and communications aligned with the global R&D strategy, with scope for continued professional development.
Your responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Alignment:
o Support the CSO with strategic R&D initiatives, processes, and deliverables.
o Work cross-functionally within the R&D Leadership team, staying connected to key developments in R&D, services, and capabilities, as well as business growth and market demands.
o Develop strategic material for the global R&D organization.
o Foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
2. Project Management:
o Manage and prioritize concurrent projects within a dynamic environment.
o Drive both independent and collaborative projects.
o Plan, set agendas, and report on KPIs and portfolio status.
o Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure project success and operational efficiency.
3. Your profile:
o Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
o Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
o Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to targeted audiences.
o Experience in corporate R&D, interacting with diverse departments, is advantageous.
o Willingness to travel occasionally, given ADM’s international presence.
