Your Role & Responsibilities
* Own the full Linux workstation lifecycle, from provisioning to decommissioning
* Own and continuously evolve centralized configuration and update management for Linux end-user devices in R&D
* Balance standardization with the flexibility required by developers and researchers
* Define, implement, and enforce security baselines and hardening standards
* Provide hands-on support for Linux device setup, configuration, and developer tooling
* Collaborate closely with the Group IT team on policies, tooling, integrations, and issue resolution
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
* Degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field
* Proven experience administering Linux endpoints in a professional environment
* Strong expertise with endpoint management frameworks for monitoring, configuration, and fleet management under Linux
* Deep understanding of the Linux ecosystem, particularly Ubuntu and Nix
* Solid knowledge of IT topics including networking, VPNs, security, device encryption, authentication, and certificate management
* Excellent communication skills with strong self-drive and self-organization skills
