About Quibble

Quibble is a new, tech-first digital book publishing house built for the next generation of writers, readers and artists. Our platform combines a streamlined manuscript submission system for author candidates, an internal editorial platform for reviewing, improving, managing and publishing accepted stories, a community-centered reading app and a revenue distribution system (in the works) that directly rewards authors based on the success of their stories on the app. Our mission is to make reading and storytelling vibrant, interactive and human-first.

Every story on Quibble goes through a thoughtful, human editorial review. Our editors don't mold stories to fit trends or force them into a formula. They are here to support writers' vision and help it shine. The future of editorial on Quibble is one where editors build ongoing relationships with serious authors, give targeted feedback at different stages and become a consistent support system.

We're live with nearly 20 books and a growing community across diverse social media platforms.

About the role

We're looking for someone to take full ownership of Quibble's social media presence. This is a high-autonomy role at a small, fast-moving startup. You'll be shaping the social identity of Quibble from the ground up.

You will dictate the organic voice, rhythm and energy of Quibble across all our socials. You'll turn ideas into posts, scripts, reels, captions, newsletters, community updates and marketing campaigns. You'll lead engagement, analyze what works and iterate constantly. Paid campaigns will exist, but your main stage is organic, cultural and community-driven content. You'll own the content calendar end-to-end, making sure every post lands on time.

To get a feel for the community vibe jump into our Discord: or find us on Instagram under @quibblepublishing.

This is a 60–100%, 6 month volunteer internship based in Zurich.
After successful completion, from July 1, 2026, there's the opportunity to transition into a full-time, paid role.

What we're looking for

* A full-on BookTok creature. You live in that ecosystem. You know the authors, the micro-trends, the drama, the niche corners, the "why is this suddenly everywhere?" moments.

• A true social native. TikTok (BookTok) is your home base, but you can also navigate at least two others - Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Discord.

• A visual brain. Aesthetics matter to you. You've posted content before and you get how to make things look good without over-polishing them to death.

• Multi-tools. Canva, Figma, Premiere, CapCut, Illustrator - whatever. Reels are going to be your playground, so you can't survive without those.

• Fast, scrappy creative energy. You can generate ideas, script them, shoot them, post them, and adjust on the fly. No waiting for perfect conditions or a committee.

• Someone who genuinely loves digital storytelling. Books, creativity, online culture, and the idea of building something from zero? That fires you up.

* Bold and fearless. You know how to grab attention without sanitising the life out of your ideas.

Your responsibilities & goals

* Own the full organic content cycle across all social channels: ideas → scripts → production prep → posting → engagement → analysis → repeat.
* Collaborate with the Quibble team constantly. We provide the context, you orchestrate the execution.
* Experiment with formats, hooks and copy to see what resonates with our community.
* Build a recognizable Quibble voice that's bold, human and culture-driven.

How to Apply

If Quibble lights a fire in you, please send an email to

In your email, include a CV and a note explaining why you want to work at Quibble and include one bold reel you would post if you were in charge of Quibble's social media (bonus points for actually creating it, not just describing it). If you have examples of social media content and community engagement please include them as well - whatever strengthens your application and helps you stand out from the crowd.

Applications sent via Easy Apply will not be considered.
