Position Summary
As a Procurement Category Manager, you will be part of the Beverage System procurement team and report directly to the Group Manager. You will lead the strategic component category encompassing Electronics, Electro mechanicals, and High-Precision plastics. You will collaborate across multiple departments to develop an impactful sourcing strategy that aligns our goals for cost efficiency, innovations, sourcing flexibility, sustainability and regulatory compliance. Your role will involve strategy, negotiations, supplier management, development of alternatives, scouting of new solutions, management of transformational projects.
A Day in the Life of a Procurement Category Manager
Lead the Category strategy and unlock new sourcing projects with internal stakeholders
Conduct negotiations to secure the best commercial agreements with suppliers
Drive the efficiency pipeline, identify synergies through platform approach and Total Delivered Cost (TDC)
Scout for innovative solutions and build the right sourcing options
Develop supply flexibility with alternative sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
Manage risk and compliance with Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles and Procurement Policy
What will make you successful
Educational background in Engineering Science, with additional degree in Procurement a strong plus
Strong track record in Procurement with Project and Category roles
Category knowledge in one of the areas : Electronic, Electro mechanical, Injection Plastic, Appliance
Advanced negotiation skills, excellent communication and influencing skills
Demonstrated success in leading transformational projects and impactful sourcing strategies
Ability to collaborate across disciplines, businesses, cultures, geographies
Pragmatic and result-driven, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
