Job Summary Job Purpose: Contribute to the CLD lab operations and technological developments (incl. technologies evaluations and developments). Responsibilities / Duties: In the frame of the development of the CLD competencies, responsible for the execution and delivery of multiple activities linked to CLD in line with expected such as: Media/feed/solutions preparation for own project or to support others; Preparation and cleaning of lab pieces of equipment for own project or to support others; Routine cell culture operations (maintenance / amplification & production phases) for own project or to support others; Routine internal process analytics (e.g. product quantification, metabolites analysis). Data Analysis, Interpretation and Conclusion: Perform results analysis and report drafting; analyses own data with equipment software, records data in Biovia eLN platform for approval. Can check the results against the acceptance criteria; Experimental Execution: able to understand and diligently follow relevant technical documentation and basic experimental protocols independently once trained. Seek for the "right first time" and “continuous improvement” principles. Interact with the associated Biovia IT systems with "buddy" supervision. Documentation: lab notebooks should be completed to a high standard; Undertake activities that contribute to the running of the lab (e.g. equipment maintenance, documentation, as per 6S principles); Attend cross-functional meetings; Actively participate in scientific discussions; Demonstrate flexibility to support other activities within the team/department. Technical skills: Overview of Scientific Knowledge, Experimental Design and Data Analysis: has a basic understanding of CLD/Mammalian cell culture technical topics (especially on mammalian cell culture and bioreactors operations could be an asset) and basic understanding of the theoretical principles. Trained in cell culture aseptic manipulation, trained in specific CLD technologies (e.g. transfection methodologies like electroporation, cell printing, semi-solid colonies picking) would be an asset; Troubleshooting: Able to notice and report anomalies in data and execution and escalate in a timely manner (technical); Education: In the cursus of Bachelor’s level in biotech process sciences/engineering or Laboratory Technician graduation specialized on biotechnology or similar field; focus on mammalian cell culture would be an asset. Experience: 0-3 years’ hands-on experience in Pharma/Biotech/Biosimilars Industry with demonstrated track record in Cell culture processing for biologics (esp. in mammalian suspension cell culture); Proficiency in English essential both oral and written (equivalent to C2/C1 European framework level), French would be an asset. Proficient with standard software – Microsoft suite (Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Outlook), file systems and browsers. Experience in the use of an eLN (electronic Lab Notebook) software would be an asset. Ability to work accurately, attention to detail, in a highly organized manner; Shows initiative / proactive mindset; Team worker
