As Validation Engineer, you will be a key player in the ASIC R&D team, developing and employing lab validation environments to enable successful development and production ramp-ups of MEMS microphone ASICs targeting the mobile market.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Work with the design team to define validation plan to meet device specifications and system expectations.
2. Develop validation / measurement concepts for mixed-signal MEMS microphone ASICs.
3. Develop hardware and software for automated validation / measurement benches.
4. Perform design, layout, and assembly of validation PCBs.
5. Develop Python automated environments.
6. Create scripts for automated measurements and post-processing.
7. Exhaustively characterize ASICs to validate performance and robustness.
8. Analyze results with the design team and create validation reports.
9. Support root cause analysis and failure analysis.
10. Mentor Lab Engineers in US and Asia.
POSITION / TRAINING REQUIREMENTS :
1. Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor or related industry.
3. Able to work in a dynamic, high-pace environment.
4. Strong analytical skills.
5. Experience in designing printed circuit boards, using EDA tools such as KiCad.
6. Experience in measuring high-performance electronic circuits.
7. Familiarity with IC micro-probing and physical failure analysis is a plus.
8. Structured working style and good organizational skills.
9. Strong team player, able to work independently.
10. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
