System Engineer (SCADA/RTU) for Substation Automation 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

Responsibilities
Design sub-station control systems (SCADA) for high- and medium-voltage switchgear in accordance with the latest technology standards such as IEC 61850, IEC 104, and other protocols
Integrate the systems, including the parameterization of the Ethernet-based communication structure
Implement project-specific functions and software applications, carry out tests, and coordinate interfaces
Support on-site commissioning at facilities throughout Switzerland
Support the project manager in technical matters and coordinate both customers and internal partners
Create operating manuals tailored to customer requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in power engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification
Basic knowledge of control and protection systems, RTU systems, or process automation systems is an advantage
You have basic knowledge of cybersecurity and network architecture
Alongside strong communication skills and team spirit, you must demonstrate the ability to work independently and take responsibility
Fluent German (spoken and written) is required. Good English skills are essential; additional languages such as French are an advantage
