Veterinary Practice Assistant 60–100%
Our workplace is the MeikoVet small animal practice in Maienfeld, currently with two veterinarians, two veterinary practice assistants, and three apprentices. The practice is led by Laura Loi, who holds an FVH small animal medicine degree, is Fear-free certified, and practices modern and highly qualified veterinary medicine with her team. The practice is characterized by an appreciative work atmosphere and collaboration at eye level.
Our aim is to offer our customers a wide range of services, but in a personal and loving environment.
In these areas you will be able to take on responsibility:
* Consultation Assistance
* Competent customer care at reception and on the phone
* Various administrative tasks for smooth operations
* Anesthesia monitoring and post-operative patient care
* Assistance with ultrasound examinations and laboratory work
* Independently perform or assist in the stabilization and treatment of emergency patients, as well as subsequent care of inpatients
* Teamwork
You have a completed vocational training as a TPA and have charm and heart in your luggage. Additional skills (apprentice supervisor, VAT or dental treatment) are a plus, but we also welcome colleagues with little experience who want to develop. We are also willing to support our employees in their further training.
