About your role
We are currently looking for a P&C Underwriter to join our team with a specific focus on the German speaking markets.
The ideal candidate possesses some market knowledge, sound technical underwriting, pricing and communication skills along with either prior experience or a keen interest to develop technical expertise in either Engineering lines, Industrial Property or Nat Cat aggregation management.
In your market role, you will drive the development of our P&C and Specialty Lines portfolio. This requires a good ability to establish and maintain personal relationships with clients and brokers as well as strong technical underwriting skills. You will also contribute actively to the definition and implementation of our future business strategy.

About you and your skills
* Around 2-5 years of underwriting or treaty pricing experience in technical and client facing roles, preferably in the mentioned markets
* Solid underwriting knowledge at least in one P&C line
* Strong analytical skills
* Team player who enjoys working in a high-performance team culture with a flat organizational structure
* Good communication and relationship building skills
* Readiness to assume responsibility in a lean organization with broad opportunities
* Entrepreneurial long-term mind-set, agility and creativity to seize short-term opportunities
* High degree of integrity, credibility, reliability and ability to represent Korean Re
* University degree in engineering, actuarial/natural sciences, business management or equivalent relevant professional education
* Fluent German and English is a must, any other European language is a plus
* Skills in Power BI or any programming language are also a plus
