Job Description You will join the team working on oil-filled and cast-resin transformers for power converter applications. You will contribute to an ongoing renovation program aimed at progressively replacing oil-filled transformers with modern cast-resin transformers, driven by environmental considerations. The role is hands-on and site-based, involving close interaction with equipment in operation. You will collaborate closely with a team of engineers, technicians, and external contractors for the integration of transformers within complex power converter systems. The role also offers you exposure to advanced low-voltage and medium-voltage power systems, and it provides you with many opportunities to further develop your practical and diagnostic skills in a high-level technical environment. Your responsibilities Support installation and commissioning activities for new or refurbished transformers, including verification of protection, control, and interlock circuits. Contribute to the integration of transformers into upgraded power converter systems, ensuring correct connection and compatibility with control and protection equipment. Prepare basic 3D mechanical drawings or layouts for simple integration tasks when required. Contribute to technical documentation: electrical diagrams, test reports, installation procedures, and equipment inventory updates. Perform routine inspections, diagnostics and functional tests of oil-filled and cast-resin transformers. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities on transformers. Your profile Initial experience working in electrical installations (low and/or high voltage). Initial experience in operation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Practical experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical installations is considered an asset. Experience in the field of power transformers is an advantage. Skills
