Overview
A consulting company that specializes in fintech solutions is looking for a new Italian speaking Solutions Architect to join their team in Lugano.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design of full-stack solution architectures across diverse and complex domains, especially in financial services
* Define and promote architectural guidelines, standards, and long-term technology strategies
* Influence strategic technology decisions across various programs and initiatives
* Assess and recommend modern architectural frameworks, tools, and design principles
* Engage in technical debates and collaborative design workshops
* Partner closely with subject matter experts, project managers, developers, and analysts
* Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation
* Produce visual models such as flow diagrams, system overviews, and interaction sequences
* Ensure documentation is clear and accessible for both technical and business audiences
Who you are / Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable practical experience
* At least 5 years in architecture or engineering roles, with 3+ years in cloud environments
* Expertise in Integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and service-oriented principles
* Expertise in Microservices, Domain-Driven Design, and Event-Driven Architecture
* Expertise in Design strategies such as CQRS, BFF, and Resilience Patterns
* Expertise in Orchestration and choreography in distributed systems
* Familiarity with Business process modeling, big data frameworks, Kubernetes
* Familiarity with Cloud platforms (GCP preferred; Azure and AWS also relevant)
* Familiarity with API management, customer identity, and mobile/web system design
Nice-to-have
* Certifications in architecture or cloud technologies (e.g., TOGAF, Azure, GCP)
* Exposure to AI architecture concepts such as RAG, vector databases, and agent design
* Experience with data governance, compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS), and monitoring tools
* Proficiency in at least one programming language and understanding of secure DevOps practices
