The city of Fribourg is offering a position for a Foreman - Horticultural Production and Cemetery at 100% (M/F) in the Urban Planning X Architecture Service, Parks and Walks sector.Your missions:- Ensure the follow-up of crops, management and establishment of horticulture (production of approx. plants).- Manage the maintenance of the green spaces of St-Léonard Cemetery.- Plan and coordinate the work of teams (15 and the training of apprentice horticulturists).- Ensure the well-being of the staff.- Oversee health and safety at work.Your profile:- CFC (Federal Certificate of Competence) in horticulture with a federal diploma in production or equivalent.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in horticultural production as well as in the maintenance and upkeep of public green spaces, with experience in leading a team.- Training in management or leadership would be an asset and a sense of public service.- Ability to prioritize and coordinate by adopting a global and transversal vision.- Autonomous, reliable, and responsible person with a team spirit.- Proficiency in usual office tools.- French or German speaker with very good oral and written knowledge of the partner language.Start date: August 1st or to be agreed upon.
