Overview
Customer Success Account Management: Student Worker Opportunities. Duration: 6 months. Start Date: February 2026 – August 2026. Type of Employment: 60% Paid Internship. This opportunity at Microsoft enables you to build community, explore your passions, and contribute to real-world projects with university interns and Student Workers from around the world.
Responsibilities
* Learn customer, partner, and internal stakeholder engagement models. Support foundational relationships with key customer stakeholders and technical professionals to enable quality solution delivery and health, using partnerships with other account team leaders and guidance from more experienced colleagues. Manage customer relationships beyond the current Unified Support contract owners with a focus on understanding business objectives and roadmaps.
* Learn how to identify, navigate, and communicate with key customer technical stakeholders at different levels. Learn how to guide and lead conversations to facilitate the achievement of customer business objectives by leveraging Microsoft investments. Map internal roles to customer priorities to action customer needs. Develop key internal stakeholder relationships.
* Grow technical aptitude and industry awareness to translate customer interactions into business value.
* Listen to conversations with customers and align objectives with the current Microsoft portfolio of work in the customer account. Understand the organizational and customer success strategy. Understand Microsoft technology and services.
* Support the delivery of program planning and customer-facing program reviews, prioritization of engagements, and engagement with key technical stakeholders to address agreed-upon customer outcomes and account priorities to deliver ongoing customer success.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and in the final year of study.
* Must be available to do an internship from February 2026 to August 2026.
* Must be legally authorized to work in Switzerland (citizenship or valid visa or work permit).
* Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
* Passion for technology and customer-focused.
* Microsoft or competitor certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, Microsoft 365).
