A high-impact engineering opportunity is available with an international technology company operating a mission-critical engagement platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Platform ownership: Design, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based services (Kubernetes/Helm), with a strong automation-first mindset.
* Reliability & observability: Improve alerting, monitoring, logging, and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic/ELK.
* Infrastructure operations: Administer Linux (Debian) environments and handle network troubleshooting (TCP/IP).
* Automation & CI/CD: Build Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform/Tofu and Ansible; support CI/CD practices and tooling (e.g., GitLab/TeamCity, Git, Maven).
* Virtualization & storage: Collaborate closely with infrastructure teams on Proxmox virtualization and Ceph/ZFS storage platforms.
* Java service lifecycle: Work hands-on with Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot and common persistence layers (JDBC/JPA/Hibernate) across build, deploy, and run.
Profile
* Experience: Strong production experience with cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) and Java development.
* Core ops skills: Confident Linux administration (Debian) plus solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
* DevOps discipline: Proven automation/IaC approach (Terraform/Tofu, Ansible) and CI/CD toolchain experience (GitLab/TeamCity, Git, Maven).
* Observability: Hands-on monitoring/logging across Prometheus/Grafana and Elastic/ELK.
* Fluent English and German.
