We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month extendable contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our OpenShift environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our containerized applications.
Tasks
* OpenShift Management: Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.
* Automation with Ansible: Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployments, configurations, and management tasks.
* Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift infrastructure and application deployments.
* Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to integrate OpenShift solutions that meet business needs.
* Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for OpenShift configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
* Security Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices within OpenShift environments.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience in managing and supporting OpenShift environments.
* Ansible Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks.
* Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Linux Expertise: Proficient in Linux system administration.
* Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Language: Fluency in German is mandatory.
