Events Manager (GIHE Sàrl)
Location: 1630 Bulle (FR); presence required on both Bulle and Glion campuses.
Contract: Permanent, full‑time (100 %) starting 1 July 2026. The role is open and still accepting applications.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for all event requests related to Glion & Bulle campuses and F&B operations.
Plan and manage full event logistics: venue setup, audiovisual needs, catering, guest accommodation, transportation, workshops, conferences, and operational requirements.
Manage event expenses, ensuring cost‑effective solutions while maintaining quality.
Communicate upcoming events to all relevant departments and faculty.
Collaborate with Heads of Departments, faculty, and academic administration to ensure seamless integration of events within the academic context.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners and clients.
Be present on‑site during events to oversee operations, manage unexpected situations, and ensure smooth execution.
Coordinate volunteers, including student participation.
Act as the communication point for Visit Campus activities with the Enrolments department.
Provide floor support to daily operations across all F&B outlets when needed.
Lead the Polyright POS system: creation, update, and monitoring of pricing.
Oversee and coordinate the student and guest feedback process for Food & Beverage.
Control and monitor invoices and expenses.
Support meal plan and company card management (monitoring, upload, unloading, reconciliation) as required.
Profile and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, depending on experience and credentials.
Hospitality or event industry background preferred.
Demonstrated interest or experience in delivering events.
Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to operate autonomously.
Several years of work experience preferably in hospitality or event industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency in spoken and written English & French.
Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Other Information
Contract type: indefinite period; activity rate 100 %.
Workload: 100 %.
Employment start: 01.07.2026.
Work form: weekly and holiday work as required.
Qualifications: skilled; work experience > 1 year.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences or equivalent.
Language skills:
French: orally – good knowledge; written – good knowledge.
English: orally – very good knowledge; written – very good knowledge.
