Your expertise may be focused on a specific sector or financial function, such as capital budgeting, cost analysis, or economic forecasting. You will be responsible for developing specialized financial models, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to optimize financial performance.Locations: Schaffhausen (Switzerland), but other Xylem locations in Europe are also optional.**Main role & responsibilities:*** Partner with EU WSS leaders across subregions, bringing analysis that supports decision-making on pricing, cost and resource allocation.* Support the development of business cases for key investment and operational decisions, including Rental fleet investments and footprint.* Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes, driving simplification and automation where possible.* Build relationships across finance teams – OPS and host segments - to develop a deeper understanding of the EU WSS P&L.* Support the Flash process in Europe by covering subregional data requirements, supporting review calls.* Prepare and maintain Service and Rental P&Ls for branches in EU.* Maintain CAPEX tracker for WSS GM (EU + EM).* Point of contact for the EU central FP&A, and accounting team to ensure numbers are loaded correctly.* Support the EU business with adhoc requests, i.e. Rental dashboard, ServiceMax reports etc.* Support the WSS EM finance team when necessary.* Help to maintain WSS Financial and Price Realization Power BI reports.**Process Improvement*** Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department* Develop and implement new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards* Streamline existing financial processes to improve productivity**Relationship Management*** Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads and executives* Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data* Serve as a financial advisor and resource to other departments* Communicate financial information and recommendations clearly and effectively to nonfinancial stakeholders.**High Impact Behaviors:*** Strategic Vision and Foresight: Senior professionals should have the ability to develop and communicate a clear vision for the future, anticipate trends, and prepare the organization to adapt to changes.
