This involves verifying data accuracy and ensuring compliance with US GAAP accounting standards. /p pThe role supports period‑end close, general ledger accuracy, balance sheet integrity and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and statutory accounting requirements, working closely with the RTR Manager, internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities in line with the defined close calendar. /li liPrepare and support review of journal entries. If entries are posted by the outsource provider, ensure that they are compliant with the required operational instructions. /li liEnsure accuracy and completeness of record‑to‑report transactions to maintain strong customer satisfaction and meet agreed service levels. Review the monthly reconciliations prepared by the outsource provider. /li liSupport the reporting team in reviewing variances period‑over‑period before the submission of the monthly reporting package with reference to the areas of your responsibility. /li liIdentify risks associated with the execution of assigned tasks within the business process and mitigate them as required. /li liAct as a key point of contact for internal and external audit teams, including SOX‑related reviews and deep‑dive requests, providing supporting documentation and responding to queries. /li liWork closely with the Statutory team to ensure alignment between US GAAP and local statutory accounting. /li /ul h3Skills for Success /h3 ul liEducational Background: Master’s degree in accounting. /li liProfessional Experience: 2‑4 years of experience in Record‑to‑Report processes (GL accounting) or public accounting. International experience is preferred.
