SAP Programme Test Manager, Quality Assurance - SAP ECC transformation to SAP S/4HANA – REMOTE, Permanent Job
The SAP Program Test Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing test activities for the SAP program. This role ensures the successful delivery of SAP solutions by setting the testing strategy, managing test plans, conducting testing, and managing a team of testers and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve the project milestones and quality objectives. The ideal candidate is well-versed in SAP modules and testing methods and can manage complex, cross-functional programs with a focus on risk mitigation, quality assurance, and test process improvement.
Some parts of the test program will require travel to France to coordinate activities on the ground and work closely with project stakeholders.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
* Transformation of SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
* On-prem to Cloud.
* Adjusting Business processes.
* Data processes and changes.
* Programme Lead with a focus on Quality Assurance.
* Occasional travel to the EU.
Minimum Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on SAP projects (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC).
* Proven experience in managing large SAP programs, including implementations across the entire lifecycle.
* Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or SAP Solution Manager.
* Proficiency in SAP testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
* Solid understanding of the various SAP modules (e.g., FICO, SD, MM, HR) and integration points.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with an emphasis on problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Define, document, and implement comprehensive testing strategies and plans for the SAP program.
* Align the testing approach with business goals and project requirements.
* Work closely with project managers, business analysts, SAP functional consultants, and other stakeholders to develop test plans, including integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
* Oversee the planning, execution, and management of all phases of testing for the SAP program.
* Ensure comprehensive coverage of functional, performance, safety, and other non-functional requirements.
* Lead and mentor the testing team and provide instruction, coaching, and training as needed.
* Proactively detect, manage, and mitigate test-related risks and issues.
