Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our organization in the Lugano Branch (CH). The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in Power BI and Python, combined with a strong understanding of data warehousing and SQL.
The responsibilities of this role include developing and maintaining insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring data is visualized effectively for business stakeholders. Additionally, the professional will automate data processing, validation, and anomaly detection workflows, analyze and transform large volumes of data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Collaboration with data engineers and other teams is essential to maintain and enhance data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will also write and optimize SQL queries to support analytical needs and data extraction, monitor data quality, and implement checks to ensure the reliability of business-critical datasets.
The required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, 5+ years of experience with Data Warehouse solutions, preferably in the Financial Services/Banking sector. Proficiency in Python, particularly for data wrangling, automation, and validation tasks, as well as a strong working knowledge of SQL, especially from an analyst perspective, are also necessary.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and experience working with data warehouses, ETL processes, Oracle databases, and PL/SQL are advantageous but not mandatory. Good communication skills in both Italian and English, written and spoken, are essential.
