Fujitsu is looking for a Senior Support Engineer for our client in Lausanne.

You will be reporting to the IT Director.

Start: ASAP

Contract: 6 months + option for permanent employment


Your role:

To provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to internal and external users, ensure preventive maintenance of IT systems within scope, and contribute to continuous improvement of the IT environment.


Key Responsibilities:

* Manage user support tickets (incidents and service requests), including delegation and monitoring of escalations to Level 3
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues
* Install, configure, and maintain workstations, mobile devices, printers, software, and peripherals
* Assist with user account management and access rights administration
* Maintain local IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and backups
* Participate in IT infrastructure and asset upgrade projects
* Train and raise awareness among users on IT best practices and security policies


Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent certifications and training


Experience:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced technical support roles


Technical Skills

* Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, and Exchange Online
* Experience with Linux and FreeBSD systems
* Solid virtualization skills with VMware and snapshot management
* Networking knowledge: LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, firewall management
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles including MFA, identity management, and endpoint hardening
* Experience with IT ticketing systems such as GLPI, Freshdesk, or ServiceNow


Additional Knowledge:

* Familiarity with backup solutions, monitoring tools, and IT asset management systems

* Highly autonomous and detail-oriented
* Strong analytical skills
* Discreet and trustworthy


Languages all 3 are MUST haves

* Fluent in French
* German (B2 level) minimum
* Technical English proficiency
