What does Master Internship@IBM CIC offer you?
Within the scope of the 2‑3 year Master Internship@IBM CIC program, we offer valuable professional experience in Consulting, which you will gain in parallel to your studies. You can complete the master study course at a university (or university of applied sciences) of your choice. The duration of studies depends on the respective university and is between two and three years. The volume of work allows you to focus sufficiently on your master’s degree. Nevertheless, you can expect challenging assignments in a team‑oriented and dynamic environment as well as many opportunities for active co‑determination. You will also write your master’s thesis in collaboration with your department.
Account And Project Support Activities
Assisting the Client Partner in Switzerland
Collating and updating IBM offerings around AI adoption and aligning them to client needs
Creating presentations to position IBM in client meetings
Planning and preparation of client meetings, events and workshops
Supporting business development activities and internal reporting on opportunities
Business Development Activities
Development of response material for proposals
Supporting team coordination & internal processes on sales bids
Supporting material creation for oral presentation sessions
Supporting the production of reports for sales and delivery cadence calls
This job is only for candidates who will have finished their Bachelor studies by September 2026 (or earlier) and plan to start with a Master’s Degree in autumn or in winter 2026 (Swiss university/university of applied sciences, study course of your choice).
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field
Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and relationship building, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technical teams
Ability to support business development activities within the Application Operations service line, including coordination, preparation of client materials, and contribution to growth initiatives
Strong communication skills with active listening, combined with adaptability and a proactive approach to taking ownership of tasks and challenges
Ability to manage dynamic workloads in an agile environment, with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Demonstrated interest in financial services, digital transformation, and operational excellence, with an analytical mindset
High level of initiative and curiosity, with a growth mindset and willingness to continuously develop both business and technical understanding
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German and French are a plus
Swiss/EU nationality or a valid Swiss work permit
This position will be based within the Hybrid Cloud & Data service line.
