The Role
We are looking for a part‑time Grants & Finance Administrator to manage our EU and Innosuisse grants. You will ensure compliance with funding requirements, track project spending, and coordinate with our business operations assistant and fiduciary partner. This is a flexible part‑time position that supports the financial backbone of a high‑tech startup.
What you’ll do
Monitor EU and Innosuisse grant agreements and ensure compliance with funding rules.
Manage grant‑funded projects across current operations and upcoming applications.
Track project spending against budgets and flag variances.
Collect and organise documentation to support eligible costs.
Coordinate with our fiduciary to ensure proper booking of grant‑related expenses.
Prepare draft financial reports for submission to funding agencies.
What we’re looking for
Several years of experience with public funding programs (EU Horizon Europe, Innosuisse, etc). REQUIRED.
Experience managing German government grants is highly valued.
Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent financial software skills (Excel, etc.).
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical teams and fiduciaries.
English and basic French required; German a plus.
Based in Switzerland or the EU.
Part‑time (20‑40% FTE, flexible).
A 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with possibility of a permanent role based on performance.
Hybrid role, with a minimum of 20% (two half‑days per week) on‑site at our St‑Sulpice office; higher percentages may be partly remote.
Potential to use our office in Karlsruhe.
Activity rate
20-40%.
