We’re looking for a quantitative analyst who wants to explore the crypto markets in ways that haven’t been done before.
What You’ll Be Doing
We want you to find novel ways of understanding how cryptocurrency markets move.
You’ll be combining things that don’t usually go together - order book dynamics with social sentiment, news cycles with on-chain behaviour, traditional quant methods with AI models.
The goal is to discover systematic patterns and build robust models using whatever approach makes sense to you,
Some areas you might explore:
Bridging external data sources (news, social media, macro) with price movements
Analysing order flow and market microstructure through a quantitative lens
Building AI-driven research models that find non-obvious patterns in market data
Creating systematic indicators that incorporate factors most people ignore
Sentiment analysis from unconventional sources
How You’ll Work
We are looking for leaders, for challengers, and for someone who isn’t afraid of being differ.t If you see a problem and think you can solve it a certain way, try it. If it works, great. If it doesn’t, try something else. The process is up to you, but each idea should start with a clear hypothesis, a structured testing process, and an objective evaluation. Freedom to explore matters, but so does being able to prove that what you found actually works. We also value methodological rigor, clean data, and results that can be independently reproduced.
What We’re Looking For
There is no set background or experience required for this role, it’s more about mindset. We’re looking for the people who were doing research that challenged their professors, who see a “solved” problem and immediately think of three ways it’s not actually solved. We welcome candidates from different quantitative backgrounds, such as finance, data science, applied mathematics, or machine learning, who want to apply their skills to the crypto markets. No professional crypto experience is required as from day 1 you will be pushing boundaries and justifying your work to fellow professionals.
You’ve probably:
Built something that people said was impossible or impractical
Published research, won competitions, or contributed to projects that pushed boundaries
Gotten bored at previous roles because the problems weren’t hard enough
Taught yourself whatever you needed to learn to solve a problem
Found patterns or insights that others missed
