Job Title: Insurance Manager F/H - Global Insurance Manager (Engineering, Nuclear Energy)

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Global Insurance Manager to lead, manage and coordinate our company’s insurance operations, managing policies, risk strategies, ensuring compliance and driving the claims process. This global role will form part of our Contract Management Function.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Create and implement strategies to effectively manage insurance risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and achieve organizational goals.
* Manage the day‑to‑day insurance operations, including policy management, risk assessment, and claims processing.
* Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with insurance policies and operations, taking steps to mitigate potential losses.
* Procure and maintain adequate insurance coverage for our global company (corporate and project specific). Review, analyze and modify insurance policies. Negotiate with insurance companies.
* Build a company internal network to obtain all insurance related data and develop global procedures.
* Collaborate with sales and legal on contractual insurance clauses for projects in tendering. Define and procure local or project specific coverages.
* Oversee the claims process, investigative, approvals, denials, and provide expert support to other functions.
* Report to senior leadership, capture lessons learned, and provide training on coverage and claim management.
Qualifications
* High degree in Business Administration, Finance or Law.
* Engineering backgrounds may be considered.
* 10+ years of experience in the insurance market (corporate, broker or insurer side).
* 5+ years in insurance related to major infrastructure projects.
* Relevant insurance certifications (CPCU, ARM) are an asset.
* Expert understanding of Liability, PDBI, EAR, MC, EL policies.
* Expertise in project and insurance risk management.
* Skills in commercial negotiations at senior level.
* Strong leadership and influencing skills—no direct reports.
* Good corporate law, project contracts knowledge.
* Excellent communication, analytical skills.
* Fluency in English (written & spoken). French language skills desired.
