Due to our high growth and commitment to technology, Medacta is seeking a Web Developer with a range of skills to work across the full technology stack on some of the company's web portals for surgical cases management. The candidate will join a development team, helping to implement the new version of the web portals based on PHP Laravel Framework, integrated into a high-efficiency automated 3D print production distributed system. The resource will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, writing clean and efficient code to design and develop robust, scalable, and secure features.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop web portals and web applications based on PHP Laravel, writing clean, performant, and tested code.
Optimize and integrate existing code and architecture to ensure correct connection to the production system and enhance application performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with other developers, team leads, and stakeholders.
Hard Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.
Knowledge of PHP and MVC frameworks (preferably Laravel).
Knowledge of Web Front-End technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3).
Understanding of REST API.
Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
Understanding of Agile development, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
Knowledge of Git versioning; experience with Gitlab is a plus.
Proficient in Italian and English (spoken and written).
