We are seeking a Senior Research Engineer who will bring expertise in AI and ML and is interested in building data‑driven capabilities that transform the way legal, accounting, and government professionals work across the globe.
About the Role In this opportunity you will:
Develop and deliver high‑quality solutions, applying modern software development practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Build scalable machine‑learning solutions, including large‑scale data processing pipelines and high‑performing systems for online delivery environments.

About You Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of software engineering experience and at least 2 years working on a machine‑learning related product or solution.
Deep understanding of Python software development stacks and ecosystems, and proven ability to write clean, reusable, well‑tested code.
Track record of quickly adopting and applying emerging technologies to solve complex problems.
Experience collaborating with applied data scientists to translate research work into production‑ready solutions.
Strong interest in real‑world applications and impact.
Experience with cloud computing, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, and SDLC concepts.
Experience integrating machine‑learning and generative‑AI solutions into production‑grade software, and understanding of ModelOps and MLOps principles.
Exposure to NLP problems such as named‑entity recognition, information extraction, retrieval, text classification, and summarization.
Ability to translate between research and engineering methodologies.
Hands‑on experience with at least one other programming or scripting language (Java, Rust, Scala, TypeScript, etc.).

Compensation: Base salary ranges from $110,000USD to $204,200USD for eligible U.S. locations, and $100,000CAD to $145,000CAD for Ontario, Canada. Annual bonus may also be awarded.
