As part of a global hardware development environment, you will be responsible for the life cycle maintenance and optimization of complex diagnostic systems, specifically focusing on instruments for Nucleic Acid Purification, PCR, and Sequencing. General Information: Start Date: ASAP Duration: 1 year (extension is planned) Workplace: Rotkreuz Workload: 100% Home Office: Limited (max. 1 day per week; on-site presence required) Travel: Occasional (approx. 5%) Tasks & Responsibilities: Life Cycle Maintenance: Ensuring the continued quality and performance of successfully integrated hardware, software, and consumables throughout the product life cycle. Project Execution: Planning and executing work packages, making data-driven decisions, and recommending technical next steps within your area of responsibility. Technical Expertise: Serving as a subject matter expert for PCBA design, microcontrollers, and firmware support while maintaining product specifications. Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all hardware updates align with EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and functional safety requirements. Documentation: Authoring and reviewing official technical documents (e.g., Design History Files) in SAP to meet strict regulatory standards. Data Analysis: Analyzing technical data, preparing reports for project leadership, and presenting solutions in cross-functional meetings. Interface Management: Coordinating efforts between various functional areas, including external development partners and on-site/off-site support functions. Problem Solving: Proactively identifying issues, es
