Duration: 3-6 months, with the possibility of extensionWe are seeking a Legal Counsel for a multinational company in the industrial and energy sector in the Zurich area, Switzerland. This role focuses on providing compliance support and conducting contract reviews, particularly for sales agreements and contracts for work and services within an international manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Legal & Compliance. Fluency in English and German is essential for this role.ResponsibilitiesReview, draft and negotiate project-related contracts, including sales agreements and contracts for work and servicesSupport the management of the company’s insurance portfolio, including the review and updating of policies, coordination with insurance companies, claims handling, and related administrative processesConduct Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, including business partner due diligence and sanctions and embargo screenings in line with applicable regulationsProvide administrative and operational support in compliance matters, including maintaining and updating relevant documentation and registersProvide general legal support to the Head of Legal & Compliance and advise internal stakeholders on day‑to‑day legal mattersYour ProfileMaster’s degree in Law ("MLaw, lic. iur., or LL.M.")3 – 5 years of relevant in‑house legal experience in a multinational manufacturing or service‑oriented companyStrong expertise in contract law; knowledge of insurance matters in a corporate context and experience with compliance processes, including business partner sanction checks is an advantageSolid business acumen with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approachAbility to work independently in a part‑time role while maintaining close alignment with stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of flexibility, reliability, and attention to detailFluency in German and English; Italian is a plusHOW TO APPLYPlease submit your application via our Careers portal, including a resume.
