Our company is further expanding by setting up a brand‑new manufacturing site located in Nidau. Due to our company’s continued growth and expansion, we are recruiting a professional for the position.
Job Description
In this interesting function, you are responsible for the IT Support for our employees in Nidau and Brügg as well as for our international Sales locations.
* Maintains the correct functioning of the IT infrastructure of STAAR Surgical AG.
* Provides 1st and 2nd Level support for STAAR Surgical AG.
* To be available during normal office hours for any IT related support requests and provides on‑call service out of office hours and on weekends.
* Provides service in projects which need IT support.
* Helps to achieve the Compliance Levels for applicable regulations and standards (i.e., EU GDPR, ISO, FDA, Sarbanes‑Oxley, IEEE, etc.).
Your profile
* Technical or commercial apprenticeship.
* Advanced experience with Windows based Systems (MS Office, AD, DHCP, DNS, IS, WSUS, SQL, VoIP etc.).
* Technical experience with computer Hardware for problem solving with Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Network etc.
* Very good knowledge in English as well as German and/or French. Every other language is a plus.
* You are independent, well structured, organized and interested to work in an international environment.
