Responsibilities
1. Maintain and continuously improve the production schedule within an 8-week horizon
2. Coordinate timely delivery of API and raw materials from warehouse to production lines
3. Ensure accurate posting of material consumption and labor/machine hours in ERP systems
4. Manage urgent material re-orders and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively
5. Monitor production data (volumes, material usage, quality) for continuous improvement
6. Generate KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends and optimize performance
7. Oversee QC raw material release to meet production timelines
8. Allocate material lots to production orders under FEFO principles and compliance standards
9. Track supplier purchase orders and take corrective actions for delays or shortages
10. Ensure short-term changes are reflected in the schedule and communicated to stakeholders
Profile
11. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
12. Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive production optimization
13. Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse stakeholders
14. Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and resolve planning challenges proactively
15. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis
16. Hands-on experience with SAP PP & EWM/WM and production scheduling systems
17. Knowledge of bioscience products, BOMs, routings, and material flow requirements preferred
18. Familiarity with GMP environments and compliance standards
19. Ability to use BI tools for data extraction and reporting
20. Language: English (must-have), German (plus).
