Role Overview

The Channel Account Manager (CAM) will be responsible for driving Fortinet’s growth within the Small and Medium Business (SMB) partner ecosystem in the Romandie region of Switzerland.
This role focuses on building strong relationships within our partner community, driving new business development, and supporting partners in achieving mutual growth goals. The CAM will play a key role in promoting Fortinet’s leadership in Unified Threat Management and ensuring consistent revenue and profitability targets are met through the Fortinet Partner Program.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and expand Fortinet’s SMB partner community in Switzerland, with a focus on the Romandie region.
2. Establish and strengthen relationships with key market players and distributors.
3. Build and execute joint business plans with partners, including MDF strategies, account development, and profitability targets.
4. Deliver sales and technical enablement sessions to partner sales and engineering teams.
5. Collaborate with marketing to create and execute demand generation plans that increase pipeline and revenue.
6. Act as a strategic advisor to channel partners to expand Fortinet’s footprint in the SMB segment.
7. Partner with Fortinet marketing and engineering teams to drive partner success and revenue growth.
8. Provide consistent geographical coverage through on-site partner and distributor visits (approximately four days per week in the region).
9. Carry and deliver on quarterly and annual sales targets.

Minimum Requirements

10. Be located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
11. Completed IT apprenticeship or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)—preferably with a focus on IT security.
12. Minimum 2+ years of professional experience post-graduation, ideally in sales or channel management.
13. Outgoing, relationship-driven personality with the ability to engage across various roles in the partner ecosystem—from administrators to technical leads to C-level executives.
14. Proven ability to deliver sales trainings and operate effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
15. Strong presentation and communication skills with SMB decision-makers and individual contributors.
16. Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken); German is an advantage.
17. Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive, entrepreneurial, and “hunter” mindset.
