What You Will Be Doing
* Planning and design of electrical systems for solar fuel plants (heating systems, distribution, sensors, drives, control systems).
* Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation (bills of materials, schematics, installation plans).
* Selection of electrical components in collaboration with suppliers and development teams.
* Management of electrical sub-projects (grid connection, transformer stations, integration of renewable energies) with responsibility for cost, quality, and schedule.
* Development of the electrical integration of industrial heating systems into grid-supportive plant control systems to optimize operations and energy costs.
* Support in technical negotiations with energy providers, partners, and authorities.
* Collaboration with internal and external technical departments.
* Supervision of testing, commissioning, and quality inspections – including global travel activities.
What You Bring To The Job
* Completed engineering degree (University of Applied Sciences / ETH) in electrical engineering or a comparable field.
* Industry experience in engineering electrical systems, ideally in the energy or plant engineering sector.
* Sound knowledge in specifying industrial components (sensors, drives, heating systems, control technology).
* Independent, hands-on working style combined with strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to participate in international project assignments (up to 20%).
* English: C1 – Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
* Experience with engineering software (e.g. ePLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, Smap3D, E-CAD) is desired.
* Experience in the technical coordination of partners, suppliers, and engineering offices is an advantage
