Role Overview
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of high-quality electronic devices. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical housings, defining assembly structures, and producing precise technical documentation, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
Responsibilities
* Design mechanical housing components using 3D CAD tools
* Create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and documentation
* Define and optimize the assembly structure of electronic devices
* Collaborate with electronics, production, and quality teams throughout the development process
* Ensure designs meet quality, functionality, and manufacturability standards
Qualifications
* Completed training as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Polymechanic, or equivalent technical background
* Proven experience in mechanical design
* Professional experience with 3D CAD software, ideally SolidWorks or NX
* Independent, structured, and precise working style
* Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
* Good communication skills in German and English
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
