Position Summary:
As a Senior Correspondent Account Executive at Newfi Lending, you will be a contributing force behind the growth and success of our Correspondent Channel. You will leverage your industry knowledge, communication skills, and business development expertise to build lasting partnerships, provide top-notch service, and deliver tailored solutions that meet your clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
* Build, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with correspondent mortgage banking clients.
* Train and educate clients on Newfi’s Correspondent Lending platform, including our products, programs, and processes.
* Drive, maintain and grow strong, goal-focused funded production levels.
* Conduct regular meetings and account visits to reinforce Newfi’s value proposition and ensure client engagement.
* Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your clients, delivering outstanding service and support.
* Monitor pipeline activity and ensure timely delivery and funding of loans.
* Track and manage expiring rate locks within your client base to minimize fallout.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process from submission through funding.
* Be well versed in Newfi’s product offerings, while staying current on industry trends, and regulatory changes impacting correspondent lending.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in correspondent lending.
* Proven track record as an Account Executive, Relationship Manager, or similar client-facing role.
* Strong understanding of Delegated and Non-Delegated correspondent lending processes.
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about delivering a high level of service.
* High degree of accountability and professional integrity.
Education:
* College degree or equivalent work experience required.
* High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
